About Archive Florals

Archive Florals is a specialist studio creating historically informed floral design for film, television, heritage and editorial projects.

Founded by Michelle, the studio grew from a longstanding interest in the social and cultural history of flowers. After studying History at the University of Exeter and training as a florist, Michelle combined historical research with professional floral design to create Archive Florals.

Drawing on archival photography, paintings and historical source material, Archive Florals specialises in floral reconstruction, botanical styling and period-inspired floral installations.

Out of our studio, based in North Devon, Archive Florals works throughout the UK and is equipped to deliver and install projects on location. With high-capacity transport and experience managing large-scale floral installations, the studio regularly works across the South West, South Wales, Cardiff, Bristol, Bath and the London M4 corridor.

Michelle has a particular interest in heritage roses and has hundreds of roses growing on her flower farm, based in North Devon. For the past 5 years she has grown a thriving luxury wedding floristry business. For wedding enquiries please visit www.rosecombeflowers.co.uk .
